2025 Activities
Seasonal Gatherings: Spring (March 22), Summer (June 21), Autumn (September 20), and Winter (December 20)
The most significant events of each past quarter are remembered, the changing seasons are explored, projects for the following quarters are planned, and experiences and projects are shared. These gatherings take place in a friendly atmosphere and always include a convivial meal for all attendees.
Seminar-Workshop on The Function of Image (March 15 and April 5)
This workshop contributes to understanding how personal life involves a set of behaviors that reveal aspects of the function of image, such as directing consciousness toward the world—that is, as an intentional activity that guides behavior in the world.
Day of Testimony: Annual worldwide celebration of the anniversary of the speech "The Healing of Suffering." (May 3)
A public event with a large turnout will be held at Study and Reflection Parks around the world, marking the day the message that is transforming the world and humanity was launched. In our country, people from many parts of Spain and abroad will converge on Toledo Park to commemorate this Day of Testimony with a wide variety of activities. A fellowship gathering will follow.
Seminar-Workshop on “The System of Self-Liberation” (May 31)
This system is conceived as a response to the deepest needs of humankind, undoubtedly the need to overcome suffering. From this perspective, Self-Liberation is the tool that allows us to overcome suffering by modifying behaviors, thanks to simple practices and theoretical explanations, recognizing that it derives from a complex philosophy that studies human life in relation to its meaning and possibilities.
Human Rights Forum (August 2)
A review of human rights perspectives in a context of uncertainty, with a focus on the global landscape.
Conferences and presentations will be held on innovation for effective intercultural communication and the impact of the digital revolution on human rights, concluding with a look at the global landscape regarding policies and models of collaboration.
Summer University of Universalist Humanism, Toledo Park 2024 (September 12-14, 2024)
Workshops and activities will be held to share knowledge and reflect on diverse topics: education, economics, artistic expressions, feminism, science, ecology, etc., with the aim of promoting non-violence and a more humane, supportive, and creative society.
Seminar-Workshop on Altruism as Service for the Benefit of Others (October 25)
Altruism constitutes the core doctrine of Positivism. Furthermore, it is a criterion of experience capable of opposing everyday selfishness and also selfishness as a factor of progress, as defended by Liberalism. In humanist ethics, solidarity and reciprocity are attitudes that contribute to the progress of humankind and to the favorable and just resolution of interpersonal and social conflicts.
