SEMINAR ON THE TRAINING LANDSCAPE

Organised by: Convergence of Cultures

The aim of this seminar is to develop the situation in which each of us lived in our childhood and adolescence, reconstructing the landscape in which we grew up, discovering the values of those times, confronting them with the changes that have taken place up to the present day, and how the sensibility of another era, with which we still act, does not adapt to the current situation.
We see the need to plan changes that one should introduce in one's values and behaviour in order to achieve the most important life goals.

TARGET: Open to all people in general, Associations and social and cultural organisations, as long as they are not in favour of discrimination and violence.

PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK Speak to the Stones. Author: Arturo Vitoria, Historian and specialist in contemporary history.

Centre for Humanist Studies

Presentation of the book "Talking to the stones" which is an account of the author's experience of the reconstruction of the Punta de Vacas hermitage, in the middle of the Andes Mountains. Historiographical sources on stones as containers of the sacred are investigated, together with field visits to sanctuaries of various kinds (caves, dolmens and temples) and museums. In this account we discover intuitions or hints about the emotions and energy that move in certain places, especially in relation to the stones that have seen so many events and open up possibilities for the conscience to structure reality in a new way.

TARGET: Open to all people in general, Associations and social and cultural organisations, as long as they are not in favour of discrimination and violence.
